Sunflower Yellow

I hope you all are having a great week! I had the opportunity to take photos with my talented friend Nathan Dreimiller. We had a lot of fun shooting at the studio and playing with the different props that they had (as you will see below).

My outfit is super casual with a pop of bright sunflower yellow. I have been craving spring time, and this cardigan fits the bill. I paired it with a nautical inspired white and cream striped top to tone down and contrast the brightness of the sweater

Cardigan: Banana Republic

Shirt and Jeans: Old Navy

I wore one of my favorite statement necklaces from JCrew. I love the vibrant jewel tone colors in this piece, and the way it looks against the navy and yellow.

Flats: Anthropologie

My best friend also got to come along on this photo shoot and help be my stylist: This is Mimi!

We have been lucky for some sunny days, but we still haven't completely left the cold. If you can't have warm spring weather, the least you can do is pretend through what you're wearing.

I hope you are enjoying this last week of February!

Golden Sequin Lumberjack

Happy Thursday! I hope you all have been having a relaxing week.

I recently wore this red plaid, button down shirt with my favorite puffer vest from Oldnavy

This casual look kind of reminds me over a lumberjack, but cuter.

I love the golden bronze sequins on the collar of this plaid button down. It adds a unique and girly feeling to what would have been just a normal collared shirt. I got this top from Target on the clearance for $6, and I definitely think the colors make it a great transitional piece for the end of winter.

I also wore my gold bow ring and watch from Kate Spade.

My brown boots are from Clarks and my jeans are from Oldnavy

I hope you are staying warm and enjoying these last few winter months!

Best,

Going out in a Leopard Peplum

This black and grey peplum shirt is extremely versatile because you can dress it up for business or work, or dress it down for going out at night.

I often wear this top from Target with a blazer for work, but it pairing it with jeans and heels make it flexible for a night out.

I paired the top with this tear drop necklace in emerald green from Urban Outfitters

My shoes are a suede heel in a mulberry purple from H&M. I like adding pieces with mild colors to give the look some interest and contrast with the grey and black leopard print.

Have a great start to your week!

Cozy in a Teal Flannel

Happy Wednesday! I currently have been obsessed with this navy puffer vest, and pairing it with cozy flannel shirts.

Vest: Oldnavy

I love the gold detailing of the hardware on this vest because it goes well with a lot of my different gold accessories.

Flannel: Target
Jeans: Oldnavy

The vest color also brings out the vibrant tones that are in the flannel. Layering with a vest adds dimension to an outfit, and provides texture-- which I love for winter.

Teal Pyramid Bracelet: Nordstrom
Gold Pyramid Bracelet: Aeropostale

Golf Loafers: Urban Outfitters

I hope you all are having a great week! Any Valentines Day plans for Friday? Be sure to check out my Instagram to see what I will be up to for the holiday!

All Striped Down

I was going through my closet and I noticed I have a bit of an addiction to stripes...

I decided I'd show off one of my favorite striped shirts from JCrew. I really love this top because it is a thicker material (great for arctic vortex days!) and has a gold zipper that runs down the back. Any little detailing makes something special, in my book.

Pairing a simple striped shirt with a statement necklace is one of my favorite ways to dress up something simple. I love this faceted periwinkle piece which I purchased at Target.

Bow Ring: Kate Spade

Gold Loafers: Urban Outfitters

I hope you all are having a wonderful month so far and are staying warm!

Best,

Pretty in Pink

I don't usually wear a lot of pink, but there is something about this over-sized cardigan that I just love.

I got this cardigan at a thrift store, and it kind of reminds me of something your Grandpa would wear, but way cuter.

Cardigan: Lacoste

Button Down Blouse: Juicy Couture

I love the gold buttons on this shirt, which make it special compared to you average cream button down. I got this top from Marshalls, where I am convinced you can find the best designer stuff for the most reasonable price.

Boots and Jeans: Old Navy

Belt: JCrew

Watch & Ring: Kate Spade

What fashion risks are you taking in the new year? Don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone with different styles and colors!

Turquoise and Floral for February

Today, I am feeling a little spring-y while wearing this navy blue cardigan with a turquoise flower motif pattern.

Cardigan: Target

My blouse is a light chiffon in a creamy white, which you can dress up and down and is practical for many different outfits.
Top: 3.1 Phillip Lim

These gold boat shoes are extremely comfortable for walking around on campus or doing errands.
Shoes: Target

Necklace: Nordstrom Rack

Watch & Ring: Kate Spade

Have a great beginning of February, and a good start to your week!
