Favorites from Lilly Pulitzer + Target Collaboration

The Lilly + Target collaboration look book came out yesterday on Target's website, and it definitely exceeds my expectations! Colorful prints, metallics, kitschy and chic pineapple and sea creature embellishments, and lots of tassels. There was some controversy when Lilly for Target was first announced, but I have always been a fan of Target's creative direction when working with iconic designers. The official collection is in stores and online April 19th, but here are some of my favorites from their preview.

Floral Chiffon and Tassels

It is still cold, but at least the sunshine is making days outside more enjoyable.

This weekend I broke out some of my new spring clothing. One of my favorite items that I am wearing is this chiffon floral shirt from H&M.

I love this shirt because the pattern has a 60's vintage flare, and it has some bright and fun spring colors. Plus it was only $10! This shirt adds a little bit of a boho look to my wardrobe.

I have also being having a major obsession with tassels. This gold tassel necklace is simple and classic, with beads in a neutral grey (which blend into my shirt). I love how versatile this necklace is, and it was under $25 at TJ Maxx

To stay warm, I wore my green surplus jacket from American Eagle, and I cuffed my favorite jeans from The Gap.

I have also been having a major obsession with oversized hats. They are typically out of my comfort zone, but I found this vintage oversized fedora and I knew that this would be a fun piece to include in my wardrobe. I am still experimenting on how to style it, but I think it goes well with some bohemian inspired looks that I am looking forward to wearing.

You can never go wrong with wearing a nude flat, and this pair is from Target.

I am also breaking out my Kate Spade shoulder bag for the season!

I have decided that you can never have too many colorful bracelets. My anchor and rope is from Kiel James Patrick, the pyramid gold is from Aeropostale, and the two beaded bracelets are from Aid Through Trade. I wanted to pick up the colors in my shirt through my wrist accessories, and couldn't limit myself to just one!

I hope you are enjoying some sunny days! What are your favorites in your spring wardrobe?

Anchor & Cable Sweater with Chambray

It has been a crazy week catching up with school after spring break, which is why I haven't had a chance to post in awhile.

This in-between cold and hot weather has made getting dressed confusing. Currently my closet has all of my winter jackets in preparation for a snow storm, and spring clothing incase it gets to 65 degrees.

I typically wear a lot of layers when the weather doesn't want to commit to being cold or hot. This army green surplus jacket has been great to wear for this because it keeps you warm, but is still light and neutral enough for spring time.

This jacket is from Target, and also has a removable fur collar.

I purchased this cable sweater with anchors because the color and pattern was fitting for spring, while still being warm enough for these transitional colder days.

I was surprised when I found this sweater while passing through Talbots. I typically never go there, but when I was with my mom on spring break, we stopped in and I noticed they had a few really cute things. This sweater just happened to be on sale, and you can get your own by clicking here!

I added a little sparkle to the boatneck of my sweater by wearing a chambray button-up with beaded detailing on the collar. This shirt is from Hollister, and has been extremely versatile in my wardrobe.

For accessories, I wore these two pyramid bracelets. The red bangle is from Target, and the gold one is from Aeropostale.

You can never go wrong with a classic brown boot, and these are from Clarks.

Hopefully it begins to get warmer and I can rely on not needing a coat when I leave the house!

What is in your wardrobe for spring?

Varsity Sweater for Spring Weather

Happy Monday!

Even though there is snow on the ground, it is supposed to go up to 50° this week.

This varsity sweater is one of my favorite purchases that I recently bought from The Limited during their sweater sale (which you can still get for 30% off the sale price). I love the classic and preppy v-neck, and the navy and red contrast.

I have been interested in varsity sweaters for awhile, but have been hesitant because of the low-cut neckline (and because I already own quite a few sweaters). After I tried it on, I thought the v-neck was alluring without being over the top, making it easy to dress up for going out on a colder night.

Since this is such a dramatic neckline, I wore daintier jewelry. This silver ship necklace was actually a flea market find.

This Notre Dame cable knit hat has been my go to this winter. In the spirit of St. Patrick's day, I feel that I can continue to wear it through March.

Since there still is snow on the ground, I am wearing my Hunter Boots

I wore my pearl and silver bracelets as finishing touches. My infinity bracelet is a friendship bracelet from an Etsy shop. My friend Sam got them made for our friend group so that each of us has each others initials attached to it

I am also wearing my pineapple Alex + Ani bracelet.

I hope you are enjoying some warmer weather. I am going to try and spend some time outside during my spring break, and enjoy being with my family.

Pop of Yellow with a Plaid Blazer

I can't believe that it is already March! Where has the semester gone? It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating Christmas and now it is almost St. Patrick's day.

Let me start out by saying that I love blazers. They add the finishing touch to any outfit, and I love how sleek and tailored they look.

This plaid blazer is from Target. It has a variety of colors in the print, so I decided to wear my mint belt from J. Crew to go along with it.

I love the pop of yellow underneath the collar. It contrasts well with the navy blue and plaid pattern in the blazer. To continue the yellow, I wore this silk blouse from Banana Republic to complete the look.

The blouse has gold buttons, so I wore these gold bracelets to pick up those details. The pave linked bracelet is from Ann Taylor, and the blue jeweled one is from The Limited.

I cuffed these Gap jeans and wore my short cognac colored booties from Pac Sun

No look is complete with out a little bit of lipstick.

Even though it is still cold out, the snow looks so beautiful.

I hope you are enjoying the beginning of March! Next week is already Spring break at my school, and I hope the weather decides to be warmer because I am staying at home for the week.

Until next time,
