About Me - Chelsea's Glossary

Hello! My name is Chelsea and thank you for stopping by :)

I hail from Cleveland, OH and have recently moved to Chicago, IL where I currently work in social media for a public relations agency. I love the Midwest, mostly for the down to earth people and the food. I could get rid of the winter weather. I graduated college in the spring of 2015, and received my Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Public Relations. I love traveling, learning about new cultures, and meeting people from all walks of life. Throughout my life, I would love to experience living in other big cities such as New York City, Denver, Austin or LA.

My love for fashion was found through art. Art has always been a big part of my life, and I studied painting and drawing throughout high school. As a creative outlet I have look to fashion and have found a style that is a mix of preppy and classic with trendy elements. Most importantly, I live by finding high quality pieces that don't end up costing a lot. The sale rack is my best friend, and when reading my posts you will learn how it can be yours too!

I do this whole "blogging thing" because I believe that everyone should feel beautiful and successful everyday, and dressing well plays an important part in confidence and self-esteem. I believe in making dreams a reality, and that everyone deserves to see their goals accomplished. I want to take my followers on a journey throughout the new opportunities in my life while always remaining loyal to this mission of Chelsea's Glossary.

In my free time I enjoy hosting events where I can cook lots of food, particularly buffalo chicken dip and anything Mexican (i.e., tacos, guacamole, quesadillas).  My guilty pleasures include jamming out to Taylor Swift and watching Friends while snuggled up in many blankets.

The most important people in my life are my friends. I can't thank them enough for their encouragement through everything, whether it be moral support when purchasing another navy and white striped t-shirt, to helping me out when times get tough. I can't thank them enough for their help with this blog as well and their mutual understanding for the love of mozzarella sticks.

I also am very lucky to have a cool boyfriend with a nice camera and skills to take amazing pictures for my blog when he can.

Thank you all for reading.
